5m Spoke wheels with drums?

I was looking at getting some American Racing Torque Thrust II wheels for my '73 convertible but am concerned that the open wheel might look bad with drum brakes in the rear. Is this just a bad idea? Good idea? Just paint the drums?

Yep, I clean and paint my rear brake drums with black engine paint. Makes them less noticeable and easier to keep clean than flat black or lighter colors.
