ANYONE HAVE KNOW HOW MANY 1968 J-CODES MADE? I FOUND A 1968 FASTBACK J-CODE YESTERDAY. OWNER IS THINKING OF MAYBE SELLING THE CAR.

25,312 total. Chuck

 
For the 1968 302 (4V) Fastbacks, there were:

1,926 with the 3-speed transmission

4,320 with the 4-Speed (wide ratio) transmission

6,740 with the C4 Transmission

Note: the 25,312 number Chuck cited above is actually the total number of Hardtops, Fastbacks and Convertibles that were built with the C4 transmission.

There were actually a total of 38,423 J-Coded 1968 Mustangs built.

Chuck had one of my senior moments when he responded. LOL
