1971 j code

Hello, I found this j code Mach one in a junk yard in Missouri a couple years ago. It was rusty and and about to be crushed. Chance would have it that I was cleaning up some junk around the ranch and went to this little scrap buyer in the middle of no where.

After talking him out of the car, I started the long and difficult battle removing and replacing all the rusted parts.

I have replaced all the floor pans, trunk pan, taillight panel, cowl, and inner fenders with shock towers ( both sides). I am nearly done but I can not find seat perches anywhere.

My question to all of you out there— do you know where I can find a pair? Dynacorn is not making them right now. Thanks in advance.

NPD sellls two different styles of seat platforms for the 71-73 cars, but none are specific to the sportsroof. They note that they are for coupe and are slightly taller than the sportsroof parts.

If you want original sportsroof platforms, you need to repair yours, or source some used originals. @Motorcity Mustang might have some, or @OMS

If OMS or Motor City don't have any try here. They show the lh in stock but the rh out. Only one side but it will get you started.
