Scott Keller wound up with everything needed to look into getting them produced, but we haven't heard anything in awhile - I'll see if I can get an update. I know I signed up for 2 sets if they ever come available, that's how bad I [still] want 'em.
I'd be in for a set

I am also waiting, patiently. Getting that kind of operation up and running takes more than just a notion... Meanwhile I am fine with the oem taillight lenses.

I caught up with Scott, and he's been dealing with some medical issues for the past several months, which kind of stalled his efforts to get the manufacturing process underway. He's pretty much there and ready to go, but still has a bit more recovery to do before he can get back into it. Trust me, he's chomping at the bit to get through it all, as he still needs to finish up his '72 Q-Code restomod project (which will be worth waiting for).

Has there been any new information on these tails and I hope Scott's doing alright

Scott's still on the mend for probably another 6 months or so. When he gets to a point where he can get more involved, he'll get the ball rolling again on the taillight production. Unfortunately, he's an absolute perfectionist, which means he won't jump into this halfway, but that also means that they'll be the absolutely best they can be as a result.

Just courious if there is any new info on these taillights. I hope Scott is doing well I'm in the middle of a 2 year cancer battle.

Sorry you are dealing with a battle with cancer. I had a bout with Stage II brain cancer (ependymoma, 4th ventricle) almost 10 years ago. By some stroke of good fortune we caught it early, before I had any symptoms. That, a skilled neurosurgeon with a great team, and my wife who kept me alive during my recoveries, all combined to give me a new lease on life. I am now a 9 year, 4 month survivor. I do have some side effects which pretty much forced me to retire medically (I never wanted to retire as I loved what I did for an occupation, owned my company I started 29 years prior). Our pony cars provide me a nice outlet, where I can tinker with these awesome cars, and chime in when trying to share useful diagnostic/repair suggestions. It helps me feel like I am still relevant.

Anyway, I sincerely wish you well with your cancer situation. I admire you keeping engaged with your interest in Mustangs despite the battle you are engaged in. It takes more than just a notion, as I well know.

! Things are going well so far hopefully I'm on the the down hill side of this with chemo thru Dec.

Thank you! And Thank you Tom for your comments! Things are going well so far hopefully I'm on the the down hill side of this with chemo thru Dec. I understand the tinkering it's about all I can do right now. I'm also medically retired so I understand that also. I'm also reading the comments here so I'll keep in touch!

Glad to hear you guys have been kickin' arse and getting well again. The original guy who designed the lenses reached out to me and them and Scott. He did start in on his '72 Q-Code again - hopefully, he's still doing well and can get some time for the taillights.

I love the sequential Mustang tail lights, I even use my turn signal more then I should in my 2014. I would like them on my '72 but $300 just seems a little silly for me to spend and I can afford it without question, I am just not sure I want to.
How about sort of LED, like these?

How about sort of LED, like these?
without pulling my bulbs I do have 1157 led bulbs of some sort (I bet one of those in the above picture) in my back lights. They do flash once (or is it twice?) before staying on, wife did not like it when she was behind me one time but I guess it gets the person that is behind you attention so I will just leave them in. is
