Just figured i would share this with you guys. There's a lot of people on here from VA and may be one of their cars but this has been on craigslist for about 6 - 8 months now. could be interesting.

Probably why it's been on there for a while.

Don't get me wrong - I'm not hatin'. That car looks very repairable, and you can't tell by exterior appearance alone (the trunk lid obviously came from a regular FB - just like the one currently on mine).

If it's determined to not be a Mach 1 (with anything other than "05" as the 3rd & 4th characters of the VIN), then it might be wise of the seller to drop his price somewhat.

yeah i thought the price may be high even for a mach, then again i'm still learning these cars. theres a fresh 73 fastback as well really clean with a 302 daily driven for the same price.

Your right, I remember seeing the Mach 1 on Craigslist many months ago. I don't remember what the original price was or if it has changed.

So, is it a Mach 1, Boss 351, or plain ol' FB? Apparently, it's no longer numbers matching. Someone should clue this guy in.
