I am looking for someone in The Netherlands that can help me. I am looking at these hubcaps: https://www.marktplaats.nl/v/auto-o...lationId=4a9c1562-1061-46ad-bfdb-7c76930c8c60

I would love to try and buy them, but you can’t create an account for that seller site without a European cell phone number. I am unfamiliar with the site so I don’t know how safe/sketchy it is either. Is there anyone in The Netherlands that can help me a bit with this?

Someone called? :)

The site is not technically sketchy, it's secure enough, but there are always dumb folks willing to pay upfront and then not receiving anything. I have been a seller and buyer on there for probably 20+ years. I'd never pay upfront. If something is worth it I'll drive there and pay after inspection.

So regarding these hubcaps, the seller hasnt listed a price, I myself have no clue about their value. Also most cars have 4 wheels but it looks like he's only selling 2. I'm willing to inform or buy them if it's not too costly. Then there's the matter of sending them to you and payment etc.

Shoot me a PM with what you think they are worth and how you'd like to approach this.

Cheers,

Vincent.

Got them both, putting some pics here for others who may like to see them. I'll PM you to discuss getting them to you :)

If these are indeed aftermarket caps for a model A they may even be close to 100 years old maybe? Just imagine the travels these caps have made. How did they get in The Netherlands?

Vinnie is amazing!!! The caps are really great for something nearly 100 years old. None of the hubcaps I have are this nice—literally none of them. I love this group!

Here is a picture of what they will go on. This is our Woody, shown with my son during his Senior High School pictures. We have been working on developing 3D printed versions, cast versions, and combinations. Getting the real deal—wow!
