71 tilt wheel steering column identification needed

I found a good deal on a 71 tilt steering column.
Can anyone confirm this column is correct and will work on my 71 power steering Fastback?

It is missing the "unobtanium" rag joint/coupler.
What is the current availability or is there a substitution available for this coupler?

The black column is not a tilt column, the green one appears like it might be. The welded flange on the steering shaft is not present on a tilt unit, it has a splined end like the steering box.

So it turns out what I found was obviously not a tilt column.
I now have a line on another one that appears to be a tilt and looks much more correct however I would like a second set of more experienced eyes to confirm this column would be correct or usable for my 71.

That is definitely a tilt column. Looks correct to me as far as the bracket goes.

Don't apologize, far better ask and not spend money on something you don't want.
