I noticed the earlier post about a Mustang II suspension install interest in a 71 - 73. The thought came to mind on a project the shop that completed my car was working on. This is the install of a modern 5.0 Coyote motor in a 72 vert. It is a good project detail of what is involved in installing this modern powerplant in one of our cars. The link is below for your reading and watching enjoyment.

There are several McPhearson strut fron suspension conversions, that I think will be more approriate to the 71-73 chassis, Gateway, RRS, Maximum Motorsports. Closer to origional akerman track angles than the MII offerings. This swap is going to become more popular, and newer systems will become available.

I havent pulled the trigger on a particulat strut suspension. Still planning, as I havent found my Coyote donor yet, suspension hasen't become a critical issue.

IMO the money is better spent on a simple coil over front and then spend money on a Watts link rear with adjustable rear shocks. Our front geometry is fine compared to 65-70's, but the live rear axle needs the most help.
