73 fenders

Will a 71/72 chrome bumper fit on a 73? I realize that the mounting brackets are different, but will the bumper fit properly against the front of the fenders?

I am not sure of the specifics but believe they are different.

From what I have read 71/72 will fit on a 73 but not the reverse due to the change in bumper

The fenders are different. The notch for the different bumpers is larger on the 73 to fit the larger 5 mph bumper. You could probably get the bumper on but, don't know how it would look. Chuck

Chuck is correct, front edge is changed

To get an idea [ it's about 2 inches ]
