73 Mach 1 H-Code: 8 or 9 Inch Rear Axle?

My Mach 1 from 73 has an FMX automatic transmission, and I'm wondering if it was a standard 8 or 9 inch rear axle.

My guess is 9 inches?

It ought to be a 9".
You can tell a 9" by a bump in the case facing you if you look under the rear end.

You have a 9" and as far as I know all Cleveland equipped mustangs came with one.

It left the factory with a 9". No telling what has been bubba'd up in the 50 years since then. Best to get under it and look.
