73 Mach spare tire

What are you all doing for a spare tire & wheel? Purchased my Mach without one. Are there any available for cheap $$ ? Salvage yard wants $75 + Shipping.. Seems high for a spare.

Suggestions????

I use a 16" Mini spare from a crown vic if I bother with a spare at all. Usually, I just drive without one.

the 16" rim clears my rear disc brakes and if you make changes to the car, this is a consideration. Overall height is about the same as my current tire size. Lug nuts differ from aluminum wheels, so I carry a spare set with the spare tire.

a AAA card takes up a lot less space

I have a spare, its the Original, the last time i got a flat, the AAA guy wanted to put it on, I told him "No way your putting on an unused 40+ year old tire for me to drive back home", so I got towed home.
