Ok so my mechanic hooked up a brand new compressor, valve expansion, lines, drier. My blower works great. and everything seems good except when you turn on the AC from the control unit inside the car it doesn't turn on.

to test everything, my mechanic hooked up the ac to external battery and it blows super cold inside the car.

So its smth to do with the AC control unit, can someone guide me please to if its an easy fix or smth is wrong?

there is a rocker switch on the control panel, when the level goes to A/C Fresh or max the lever clicks the switch, that kicks the compressor clutch on.

the switch could be causing a problem or you could have a broken wire somewhere. make sure the single black wire is hooked up at the compressor clutch.

the switch sits on top of the control panel behind the levers the wires are green and purple stripe.

and the connector is white behind the dash. the control panel also has a red connector that is for the lighting.

Thank you so much, I will pass the info to the mechanic tomorrow, appreciate all the help that you give me or give other members on their problems, I always see you answering and like your answers. Thanks Dan
