Hi guys,

Saw pictures of some gas pedals that have a stainless trim around them. My car is a 73 with deluxe interior. Both the brake and emergency brake have the chrome trim but NOT the gas pedal? Is it supposed to have the trim or does anyone know which models/years/options included it? Example pic below with stainless trim.

My '73 Mach 1 with deluxe interior had the trim that was back in 1981 so I assumed it was original. I added it to the '71 Mach 1 that I am building now.
I found the brake pedal and parking brake pedal bright trim aftermarket but could not find anyone that was reproducing the gas pedal trim, maybe that is why you see some cars with brake pedal trim but not gas pedal trim. I found a nice used trim and installed that.
