My 73 Mustang Coupe is all original and stock . I just added electronic ignition kit & upgrading the wheels to size 15. I wanted to ask if following wheels are good or no they recomended by the seller who I bought car from . its Steel Style wheels from https://www.universaltire.com/wheel-vintiques-1/rally/style-steel-wheel.html eith BF Goodrich Radial T/A tires .

Btw my car is still in United States they are doing all mods then will ship it here to Beirut. will be posting original seller photos before the wheel & tire upgrading.

thank you.

Their website is broken for us, when you try to post links because it most likely requires a login.

Based on what I found in the URL though, are these the rims you're talking about?

I've always thought those were sharp-looking wheels. I'd love to see them on a '73. ::thumb::

I cant access the Website also was Ok before!! I think those are the wheels yes. These are Steel wheels Not Aluminium ?

Most modern cars have aluminum. Steel is fine just be aware that chrome plated steel on rims is a lot of up keep to keep the corrosion and rust from forming. Also from just a looks stand point I like the aluminum looks of this particular style better. The sharp edges on them make it look more defined than the soft rounded edges of the steel ones. Just my opinion though.

The wheels you were originally interested in came on Mustangs from the factory back in the 60s' and have kept their popularity.. Personally, I like them very much.. I also installed them on a 63 Ford Galaxy I had back then.. The style seems appropriate for those years..

They were easy to keep clean and a good coat of wax did wonders for the chrome finish. I waxed the wheels each time I waxed the car..

The aluminum wheels are also very appealing with the sharply defined details and have a more modern look to them..

It doesn't matter whether steel or aluminum is better, it's all a matter of taste. Keep in mind that all wheels must meet our federal DOT standards to be safe for driving here in the states.

Best of luck with your choice and hope all is well for you in Beruit..

I prefer the Scott Drake wheels shown above. The others are reproductions of the original type only correct on the earlier 1965-66 Mustangs. They just look out-of-place on our 71-73 cars. The Scott Drakes look slightly different so they appear more 'custom'.
