I think your right, I have seen pics of ported mustangs before so not the only one

filling in the port holes would be easier than replacing floors. So if its rust free its a great start for a project.

Not the first; hopefully (but doubtfully) the last.

Guaranteed to have rot around the rear window. Don't forget the expense of swapping the front fenders (the '71/72 grille fits the fenders - must be '71/72 fenders on a '73) and reinforcing the chopped-up inner quarter structure.

Weird looking vinyl roof and porthole, but don't think it's a Mach 1.

Best bet a 3F02H 'sportsroof' car.

Personally I would not like those seats.
