Audio Upgrade, keep the 8 track

Fully functional AM-8 track in the 73. Looking to upgrade while keeping the radio 8track in place. Hoping the only visible changes will be a pair of box speakers in the rear. I found the radio schematic on page 6 of the wiring diagram.

Going to practice removing the door panels on the H-code. May be a couple sport mirrors up for sale off that soon. LOL

I'll post pics and updates as this moves along. Thanks in advance for any tips or helpful advise.

No, 296 is the numerical code for white-pink wires. This should be continued from column 22 on the sheet previous to this one.

Does anyone know if the original door speakers are 4 or 8 ohm. Got this working and it sounds pretty good. Love the 8track and bluetooth access. Runs extremely hot when the front door speakers are plugged in. Just a little warm when you run it with just the rear speakers, which I know are 4 ohm.
