Hi i am staring to work on my 73 mach 1 interior which is avocado. Do anyone have any door panel or any interior avocado parts I got to replace the hold interior Thanks

Ah, I love the avocado interior. Had that in my 73 Grande.
There is a junkyard kind of near me that has a coupe. Not much left, but the interior was filled with other junk. I plan to empty it and see what is there next time I go. Maybe Friday.

Nope, hoping for Friday. He was out of town.

I am looking at picking up an avocado car tomorrow. It has pretty decent quality standard interior. I already ordered a set of deluxe avocado panels from MotorcityMustangs. So either way, I will have a spare set of door panels to get rid of.

If I end up picking up this car tomorrow, then my deluxe panels come in, I will have a set of standard ones to sell.
If I end up not getting the car, I will have the set of deluxe panels to sell. :D

Also, while searching around, I did see a website that claims to make high quality reproductions here in the USA, and they have "green" listed as a color choice. I do not know if thats avocado green, nor if they have the handles and cups to go with them. But its an option. https://mustangmarket.net/Mustang/1964-1973 Mustang/1973 Mustang/1973 Mustang Door Panels/1973 Mustang Deluxe Door Panels.htm

And if it makes you feel any worse about the lack of green interior parts, about 15yr ago, I bought a set of black door panels for my car off ebay. Around some of the edges, you can tell they were green ones that somebody had dyed black. Thats part of why there are not as many green interior parts available. People wanting to save a couple bucks back in the day dyed and painted them black.

This will hurt to say, but my 73 Grande I had back in 89 had a PERFECT deluxe avocado interior.

It got wrecked.

Due to the rarity of avocado interior parts Any pieces That you do purchase will probably not match anyways due to wear and fading.
when I redid my deluxe avocado interior, I purchased a new set of white deluxe door panels, used black dash pad, replacement hinge covers.
I then collected all the pieces, properly cleaned them and dyed them all at the same time and this was 10 years ago.
I also added a fold down rear seat at the same time.
Any fabric for seats can be purchased from SMS auto fabrics and matches perfectly.

HI did you make it to the junkyard
Spent a few hours there today looking thru the coupe. Nothing really worth grabbing. Setbacks, kickpanels and rear seat panels were all disintegrating. UV has done a number on them and your fingernail takes off the top 1/32". The car had a base interior and the metal door caps and metal dash top looked more like grilled avocados.
Upper back seat (different for a fastback) would have been good if it weren't for the big gash in it. Lower was destroyed by all the parts stacked in it. Everything else that could be green was gone.
The only parts I grabbed were a windshield washer reservoir and some dash wiring loom retainers.
Wish I had better news.

No problem, wish I could have helped.

I have front Deluxe Avocado door panels and a complete deluxe dash applique, it would need painted, the door panels are from a 73 cougar and are in very good shape. I also have the center Gage dash cover but the wood grain is not original. Also have complete set of carpet in a light green color and if its a sport roof I have some rear side panels that would need painted.
I had thought about putting in the sports interior but after i joined MCA and competed in concourse trailer-ed it would have not been original so I left the standard AG interior in my car not the GG. I can get more pictures if your interested.

Those door panels may have come out of a Cougar, but they came out of a Mustang originally. Cougar and Mustang deluxe door panels are different, but interchange.

I'm off Wednesday I will take more pictures and of the carpet its still in the box. I have the chrome door latch handles also. Were you interested in the rear side panels and what is your Zip code. All Ford Carlisle is first weekend in June and I am about 3 hours from there. Do you know anybody going to the event, its very large and usually has 3 to 5 hundred Mustangs plus many other Fords. Something this hard to find I get nervous shipping anything UPS! I have a pint of the light Avocado interior paint from COLORS I was going to paint the rear side panels just decided mine were good enough.
