Bacon tatertot casserole

My first go at some bacon tatertot casserole...I subbed bacon instead of beef...sour cream..mushroom soup...a bunch of cheese and tots...turned out kick arse...already half gone....everyone been attacking it..lol

I have to say..It is the most simple and best cassarole i ever made...I just had the last of it for breakfest...it hardly made it threw the night..lol

Glad a experiment turned out sooo well

I used a bag of tots

16oz of sour cream

1 can of condensed mushroom soup

1 bag of shredded medium chedder

1 bag of precooked real bacon bits

.I mixed the soup and sour cream on bottom of pan and mixed in over half of my bacon....then i put a layer of cheese..then tots...then another lay of cheese and mixed in the rest of the bacon,...and it turned out better than any cassarole thing i ever made or ate...it was cheap to make too..and easy and hell..lol

My mom used to make that with ground beef. I haven't had it in probably 40 years. Headed to the store...

Ya..It was so good..Im buying more supplies my self to make it again...I think the bacon version turned out waaaay better than my beef..Usualy the beef does well and very filling..but the bacon version i made was attacked like wild animals..lol

You"ve still got me thinking about this, gonna have to try it. Got a friend that loves bacon ,lettuce & peanut butter sandwiches. Have'nt tried that yet either.

add banana and you got the Elvis sandwich...ehhe..I always wanted to try it...Bacon...banana...peanut butter...lol...be a odd combo..but he would fly a jet full of people dont to get them..so they must of been good..lol

Try it out...I think its a solid hard to mess up dish..lol...Let it cook for about 40 min + and should turn out great ..And its cheap on the pocket book..Get a $1.50 package precooked bacon and it turns out terrific i think...Alot cheaper than using 5 dollars of beef..lol
