ballast resistor ?

i have a 250 six 1971  do the six cylinder have a ballast resistor  or wire for the points i can't find any thanks for any help

All Fords use a "ballast" resistor wire for the coil; it is almost always embedded in the underdash harness.

as midlife said yes there is a resistor wire. but wondering why u asked. is there an issue u need to figure out??
