1973 Ford Mustang Fastback.

It needs to be restored!
First 6 pictures were not part of the Barrett Jackson but they were in the parking lot next to Barrett Jackson.

Nice! I'll take anyone of those just sitting in the parking lot.
You can have the convertible, I'll take the other one. ::thumb::

That 71 is NOT grabber green....and gold stripes.. come on.

For $37,400. I'd expect a little more originality.

Let's see - non-original color (thinly suggested to be original), gold stripes (with a blackout hood!), speakers punched through the package tray panel, scratched (or moldy) steering column under the ignition cylinder, 1980's radio installed through the original radio panel, 3,000 mile discrepancy in original mileage on the same 8.5"x11" sales brochure, originally a 351 2V (E-brock'ed into a 351 4V), side stripes missing under-reflector part of decal, Autolite air filter decal applied to right shock tower, outrageous price.

Would have been acceptable had the owner admitted to restomodding it, but that's a $9-12k car anywhere else - and it's still a hard sell with the 3-tone paint job.

Nice pics. Thanks for sharing. I watched a lot of BJ on speed channel, but's in always nice to see some candid shots.
I will be posting more pictures of BJ's mustangs tonight. I also went to Russo and Steel's car auction show as well so I will start a new thread and post a few pictures of it later on tonight as well.

Yeah it is definitely not grabber green. I am surprised the price went up to $37,400.

You're spot on about everything. I wasn't expecting to see a 3-tone paint job either. Maybe the bidders didn't know much about the small details of the car...

There were 2 grabber greens in 71 a Z code grabber green poly (mettallic) and an I code grabber green lime, that car looks like the z code to me and as far as the gold stripes (why not) everybody goes with black or argent its good to see some different stripe colors like mine. As far as the $37,400 price tag u should be happy to see that are 71-73 cars are getting more popular and worth more, original or not.

Figures there would be a green and gold car here. I guess I put my foot in my mouth. My apologies Ron.

Sports wheel covers & Trim rings and hubcaps - wonder what was on the car? Maybe other set in trunk? Steering wheel not correct either - aftermarket.

It would be a very rough 17-18k miles to use up a steering wheel...

Glad I'm not trying to sell a car to any of you guys (picky picky) holy crap:) Like I said earlier glad to see the high price makes mine look like a 20k car

Maybe it's supposed to be the Grabber Green poly. I think what bugs people are cars like this that are customized to their owners liking but are represented as being factory original. More power to the owner for getting a very good price on a car that others agree was priced over the noremal market value.

No problem - more pictures will be posted tonight. There must have been a mistake; his car is definitely dark green poly with gold stripes. I was kind of surprised to see white stripes on the seats instead of dark green or even dark gold. But that's just me.

+10,000 you all would pick my car to pieces. Good thing I built my car for me and not you guys.
