Still trying to find an old 72 grill for some parts off of it. Recently received a private message from user Scanty12 that has no posting history and just joined who recommended another party of 4mm selling parts. Utilized the conversations section of the forum to connect with both and just did not get a good feeling that either were legit with the parts and price. That little tingle said the price was too good to believe and in those cases don't believe it. Just wanted to pass this along so others dont get scammed.

I may have spoke to soon on 4mm as I see they have an extensive posting history. If I am wrong my apologies, but just did not feel right at the time.

Better to be a bit red faced then taken for a ride. You can't be too careful these days. Seems scammers and fraudsters are everywhere trying to get people separated from their $$.

Report the conversation and include some screenshots of the PMs. Scanty has no posting history and 4mm hasn't been in the site since 2021.
