Black comfort weave

Ordered 4 yards of the black comfort weave from SMS back in July received delivery promises of "In two weeks" every two weeks  since July. The material came in yesterday a week after I put in a credit card dispute last week. Here are some pics of the fabric.

Now I'll be sending it to TMI so they can sew it into the seat covers I'm ordering.

Was it woven fabric or just embossed? Looks embossed.

I believe SMS sells all woven fabric like the originals were.

Be interesting to hear how long it takes TMI to make the covers.

They have been out of the white for some time now and they tell me they cannot make the material because there are no looms like were used to produce it. The factory that made the material burned to the ground during the end of the 1973 production and some of the last cars had solid vinyl inserts instead of comforweave. 

They search out and buy any they find. I should have ordered the white when they had it but I thought they produced it and was not worried about running out.

David it's woven they told me they ordered it from a factory in New Jersey but who knows with them they are not very forth coming with info.
