Now I've done it. I'm in the process of swapping my FMX for a top loader and have had the cross member off for several months with the car on jack stands. Just went to put the cross member back on and discovered the body has flexed outward about 1/2" so the bolt holes no longer line up. Crap! I've taken the jack stands out and have the car resting on the engine crossmember. Then cinched up a comealong strap between the rails and left the doors open. Not sure this will ease the rails back in place over time. Any ideas?
