Car is looking sweet 70cobrascj. FWIW, there is no real need to glue the trunk water strip. I keep mine "unglued". Since this weather strip channel is a known rust area on our cars it's a good idea to occasionally pull the rubber a bit for inspection. Just my opinion.
Good idea I may just leave it if it decides to stay in place.
Thanks
Oh and putting the battery in trunk isnā€™t a bad idea either considering what poor traction these cars seem to have.

Absolutely stunning! What a transformation from the car in the corner of your driveway in that earlier pic!
The paint looks flawless!

I have been following your thread, and your car has been turning out great. TBH, when I first saw you were going with black accents, I was like, on the inside of course, nooooo! I was being like a little kid on Halloween when you want them to wear a coat over their costume, "you're ruining it", lol.

I was wrong of course, although I am a big fan of the green metallic with argent, and didn't recall ever seeing one with the black stripes and accents. Now that I see it, I really like it a lot! IMO, the black is a little more subtle and allows that beautiful green paint to be the star of the show more than the argent accents might.

Your car is looking awesome, the wheels and tires also look and fit perfect, I am looking forward to seeing it completed and hear how you are enjoying driving it.

Thanks a lot I appreciate your comments. I followed your build and was very impressed with your work and your car had me thinking of going to Wimbledon white. But after considering my car has all its original drivetrain I didnā€™t want to change the car too much from its original build.

A wee bit closer.
Interior is 99 percent done just have to install dash pad screws.
Finish installing stripes.
Install door seals.
Glue trunk seal, waiting to do that after I leave the trunk closed for a few days to smash down the seal and form it better to the shape. View attachment 98021
