Convertible top to window adjustment

I bought a 1973 which had a new top to it but it has a gap maybe a quarter on an inch from the top to the window. Is there any way to adjust the top to close the gap. I tried to adjust the window but to get it to the level to fill the gap the front of the glass interferes with the A pillar.

You'll need to take the door panel off to make window fore and aft adjustments; tilt ( do by bolts located on underside of the door); and check / adjust upper and lower stops once you have the glass fore/aft adjustment set.
