Wow, Dan, that are some awesome fabrication skills, I love it! Very very impressive! And it's all about the gaps, eh :thumb:  ?!? Hope to hear from you soon again! Love to see your little helper with you, same as here! So they could learn from dad and have some good time together, ain't it that way?

Wish you a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year with your family!

Take care, my friend!

Thanks a lot, I appreciate the love ! 😁 I will continue on building on the car tomorrow actually, so I will post as soon as possible, it’s great to be back in the community again, I have missed it ! 🙏🏽 There’s nothing better than to have the little helpers around when doing stuff, I love to teach him how to use the hands! It’s the only way, I like it so much 🤩👏

Thanks a lot and merry Christmas and happy new year to you and your family too my friend 🎅🏻🎄⭐

I little stack of new parts came in today 😁 2 days on the delivery from Summit USA to my address in Denmark, that’s impressive! Got a new 31 spline chromoly 1350 yoke from Sonnax, 2 solid 1350 u-joints from TCI Automotive, billet u-joint girdles from Strange and a set of flanges so I can start on my custom build headers! Now I just need to order the stronger driveshaft, I think that should hold up pretty good with those parts, damn it fits well together! 😁

My dad made a new bracket for the hydro boost and the Baer remaster unit to move the system away from the engine to make more room between it so it doesn’t hit each other. It was a great surprise to get home to, then I can write that of the list 😁👏

These Sonnax yokes are such beautiful pieces ain't they?
Did you noticed a tight tolerance to install the TCI u-joints? I have on mine used Moogs, tried 2, and really needed to (seriously) press them in.
Wondering if that's a constant for Sonnax or just my 28 yoke.

Yes they are!
Yes I did, they are really tight, had to press it together too but the u joint moves perectly. I like that its a tight fit, that should work great that way, there wont be any slip in that when it runs 😁

An update on what I’m working at right now 😁 I’m building the fuel system at the moment and I’m almost finished with it. I have build a bracket for the Holley HP 150 fuel pump and installed it in front of the tank as high as possible and connected it to the tank and the stainless pipes that are running thru the driveshaft tunnel. I got a bung welded to the tank for the return line and connected that to the stainless pipe too. It’s all made in AN8 high flow fittings and braided hoses.
Today I made a bracket for the fuel pressure regulator and installed that too. Now I just need to make the last couple of hoses and connect the regulator to the stainless pipes.
I also installed the Boss 429 scoop. I’m not finished with it yet, will make some touches to it.
I hope you like the pictures 😁🙏🏽

Nicely secured fuel lines! It's amazing the time that goes into brackets making if you want them robust and good looking.
Yes, that delays a bit to restart the engine, but looks like you wouldn't be happy with 1/2 done work so the pleasure will be greater in time!
Making own parts is the most rewarding part of the hobby when they are as you wanted!

Btw, for your scoop, as you like making stuffs, may you'd consider to build one in metal to never have cracks.
I was looking a few weeks back at one of my fav fab channel... it's not that hard and you already did the most demanding ( have the hole in hood that is exactly where it should with some lay around).

Thanks! Yes its a lot rewarding, I really love it!
It has allways been my dream to do something crazy with the hood and it still is, I just wanted to see how this would look with the Boss scoop. I really want to make my own design and I still think that will be the plan to do so 😁

Allmost ready to crank her up 😁 been awhile again I know, have got so much to do. Plan is to get her up running now and then take everything apart and then paint and reassembly. Will be ordering a American Autowire harness soon and some other parts and a driveshaft.

I hope you all are doing well 😁

Looking good, it's always exciting when it comes time to fire them up for the first time.

I FINALLY GOT THE BEAST FIRED UP !!!!! 😍😍😍 That was the best and most insane experience at the same time! I didn’t expect it to be so mean. Listen to that throttle response! It’s eaten those RPM’s as it was nothing and it’s even not tuned in yet. This was a big step for me getting to this point. I’m so glad that the engine was running and sounding so good after I took it apart my self and rebuild it and solved the issues that was in it!

I hope you like it! The sound on the videos doesn’t justify the real sound 🤩😂😍

It’s 526 stroker Big Block with open headers.
