well, this is the first time I have posted to this site. as an introduction, I am a 12 year veteran of the U S Air Force(1965-1977). I recently purchased a 73 convertible, L code (250 CID). the car was rather ratty when I bought it, but it did run. the car was restored for me by the men of the mission of hope in west mobile (ala). my family has done mission work there for over 40 years. it is an alcohol and drug rehabilitation ministry. I am retired from IBM and I'm currently working as a contract IT specialist at ingalls shipbuilding in Pascagoula, Mississippi. I was introduced to this site by donstang65, who stopped by my house after spying my car....thanks don.

Ibm, eh? My godfather was big in the technical writing dept at HQ Binghamton, NY On the walls as a founder in writing the instruction ~troubleshooting manuals. Got a friend w/IBM indirectly introduced on fb~ of a friend whom his son~is my godson and they were born~raised and living in between the outskirts of Paris and the Riviera. Unforutunately, this being a comprehensive on the expertise of the tail end of generation one in the vast search of making their 'used mustang' into not only a mean stock machine~like it was new off the showroom floor but, a lot of them w/the sharing of their technology in building their stangs to outshow and outperform even their expectations of their vehicles that if was the production model~the predecessor might have continued in running ../the bigger bodied mustang. There is no such thing, necessarily, that the models of the first gen mustangs could not have been tweaked out to do the same and as well like as the latter ones. MIKKE 74-8 Air Force and 83 Elmira College w/heavy concentration in management and business all molded into a real BS with a further~major in psychology. Now almost off the soap box~your stang would blow holes in us big boys V-8s with sneaking a bi-turbo via an EFI unit under the table~my 1st true love. WELCOME FROM LATROBE PA!

A 6 cylinder, eh? My first true love and could have had one if not for Hurricane Agnes taking my nest egg, per se, back in 6/72 up in Elmira, NY. Would have had an intercooled bi-turbo in that one within a decade or so and I believe would have been a better move than miniaturizing them ever after (along with the R-code suspension). As per, IBM, my godfather was one of those guys back in the 60s and up on the wall in HQ Binghampton, NY one of the founders in writing up the instruction and technical eval/troubleshooting manuels. I ended up in Air Force in mid 70's in an AFCS Electronics Installation Squadron/Inside Wire section with those geeks in the crypto career fields. Good looking ride. I spose you are going to keep it stock? With the 6 with a Hurst 4-speed and a gear vendors overdrive and the turbo would rightly be the sweetest stang in this club but I am happy with my q to r code 72 convertible. Just a few more tweaks and it will hold up to its rep on COTM March 2015. Did you get a lot of clips when in the midst restoration? On my photo ablum, pp2-5 covers all of mine however may as well post the 5 steps fwd and 7 steps back, back in my first years of its rest. PSl; godfather's name under his portrait on those walls in IBM HQ is Joeseph Cwynar. Good to see another IBMr in here. A bud of mine over in the Paris, France area, his bud and new acquaint on fb is an engineer over there for IBM, quite a worldwide operation, eh?
