tonight while I was out, I noticed the Reverse light did not work.

I was wondering where is the reverse switch located???

its an FMX transmission.

if someone has pictures that show it or where it is would really help in trouble shooting this.

Thanks

Iyman

The reverse switch should be part of the neutral safety switch on the FMX.

how bad is it to replace? or is there an adjustment for it?

its too hot outside to spend much time on it heat index 109 deg!!!

I found the wiring up on the firewall there are 2 plugs, I assume reverse switch, and neutral safety switch, I will test it from there, to isolate the switch or wiring.

You can see a pic of it on my website

3 screws to change it + bezel screws so 7 :)

Yes it is adjustable

SAME HEAT HERE - that is why some guys are waiting on parts info / pics - sorry - I'll get to it soon.

I just leaned on a fender and I think I burnt my hand

I didn't wait, I battled the heat!!! and Fixed it :)

it was a broken wire near the connector at the Firewall, a little Solder and heat shrink, and they Work ::chili::

they must have not been working for a while, I just never noticed it.

then while I was at it, I got the Engine compartment light working, that was oxidation @ the connector, an other quick fix.

Thanks Don, and Midlife for your inputs
