Let me throw my ignorance out there. I do not understand why/how this fuel pump will increase performance. Can someone give a simple explanation?? Thanks...

In theory... reduced friction. I'm not sure how measurable any power increase would be.

Not roller... Ball bearings. I wouldn't feel comfortable with it in case of failure.

That is just wrong(incorrect). Eccentrics are two pieces and roll across the pump arm. This widget is overkill. There is a reason it hasn't been developed before now. I doubt very many hotrodders are going to buy one.

That would explain why I haven't seen one. My 72 is earliest model I have worked on. Can't you just put a two piece on them though?
