FINALLY getting some color on my project! I have the hood, fenders, bumpers and some small parts painted, base coat clear coat. I am working on the body itself to get it ready next week (hopefully) for paint.
I am in a fairly small garage, and would really like to have more room to open the doors ect to work on the body. So I would really like to move the painted stuff out. But, to do that, my only option would be to put the parts outside. I think the weather forecast shows b elow freezing in a couple of days, then staying below. (Michigan)
My question is, will the cold hurt the paint if I put the parts outside? Everything has been painted within the past week, some today. I would like the extra room, but not at the risk of damaging the fresh paint. The paint instructions don't say anything about temperature once sprayed.
Any thoughts? Thanks! (And a sneak peek )
