Fuel Vapor Canister

Hi Everyone! This might be a silly questions, but is the fuel vapor canister sitting at a different height between our years 71-73? If I remember correctly it was pretty close to the shock tower brace. Thanks!

If I remember it got moved after 72 or sometime around than.

I believe 71-72 years used a shorter canister and it was positioned lower on the back of the shock tower or on the rear inner fender apron. In 1973 the canister was taller and higher on the tower.

WHEW! That's good news...my 71 style canister is in the correct location then! The fender apron was replaced with an original piece I purchased from a member on here. Thanks Guys!
