Full size deflated spare lock

How rare is the lock on the full size spare tire. It replaces the wing knot and has a key just like the one for the truck.

It was part of the appearance protection package option I believe. Also available from a Ford dealer parts dept. If part of the option package it's key was the same as the trunk key and if you had the optional convenience group the same key was used for the glove box door. The appearance protection group option is one of the the options listed in Marti's Mustang book for 73s. 20,462 out of 134,867 Mustangs had this option, about 15%. The spare tire lock was a new option for 73s, not available for 71/72s.
