Gas Tank Venting Issue

Hi,  One thing to double check is fuel pickup sending unit when putting it back together.  I had my tank changed by someone else and the 'I ' should have doubled check the new sender resistance and fit angle before installing back in.  Sender works but  fuel gauge is not as linear while the fuel is consumed.   I really need to pull it but dread dealing  with getting the gas out again. 

You likely got the wrong sender unit. I had that issue and had to convince Rock Auto that the Spectra one they list as correct, was wrong. The outlet points the wrong way. I found the Dorman 692232 worked fine, but I did need to adjust the arm slightly to get an accurate reading a 1/4 full 5 US gallons. If you run your tank  down to 1/4 , you can jack up the left side high enough so you don't have to drain out anymore, just be careful, use jack stands. I did this to set and test mine.
