OK the car has been introduced here before it was a factory 351 2v car I picked up from my cousin who is also on this site. the original plan was rebuild the 351 and put it back in but things change. I bought a parts car another 72 coupe. I bought the parts car super cheap like $400 cheap. I bought it because my car needed better hood and one fender both of those items were good on the parts car. The parts car had rats living in it and was just super nasty. I took the motor tranny and everything that I might need from the parts car and and hauled it off to the local junk yard. Upon looking at the motor I pulled from the parts car I realized that it had already been rebuilt and never fired. I am have already cleaned the rat crap out of it and have put it back together. Then put it into the car until I can get around to rebuilding the Cleveland. So I guess my question is, Is there any difference in the setup between the 351 and 302?

It should mostly bolt right in if you have the 302 flexplate, exhaust manifolds and such. Although the exhaust might not line up with the pipes.

The radiator hoses will be different, at least on top.

The 351/302 shared the same small block transmission so no worries there.

Linkages for throttle and transmission kick down might be a little different too.
