Great burgers at Miners.

Stopped in at a old car hop called Miners in Yakima..been in biz sence 1948....Alot of people in Wa state have heard of it or been there....Always good burgers...well priced for the size you get...Small fry could feed 3..lol....We got there early before the rush thank god...Usualy no room to sit in that place most of the time ...Good service and burgers every time i been there no matter how packed ..My cousins regular Big miner burger was only 5.89...My double miner was like 8 bucks i think...Make sure you are hungry when you show up here..lol

Before all the health concerns started, there was a place called "Patrick's home style burgers" in my area that I miss so much. Nothing like eating a BIG burger as grease drips off your elbow...ahhh

Heck ya..We use to have a few big burger places...One place was called ruffs...But the owner was a # 1 a-hole and ran off everyone...He told the local car clubs that liked to hold there meetings there...they should have to pay extra to use his place...what a jerk

So now i have to drive 80 miles one way to Miners for a good big burger...Good thing its that far away for my own health I usualy only have one twice or 3 times a year..lol.....One good thing...I ran into a guy who's wife works for the yakima health department...And he said that Miners is the only burger joint she will eat at...Made me even like the place more hearing that...I guess they pay there people well too.

im hoping to drive my stang up there next year when i get her finished...Maybe get some of the local Wa state mustangs to meet up there sometime..Great place for a meet and greet..Plus you get to go down to the dragstrip and watch hot rods run all day after you eat,...I need to try that banana milk shake my cousin got there next time...He said it was like eating a banana cream pie!! yum..lol
