Mustang Mach 1 Fastback 1973
Hi guys, following on from my question about the intake manifolds, I was wondering if the original Mach 1 Mustang with 351C 2V had an H-pipe as standard or just two center extensions that connected to the rest of the exhaust system?

Thanks,
Ben

The 351-2V engine only had a single exhaust, which was a Y-pipe from the exhaust manifolds into a single muffler and tailpipe on the passenger side. A factory installed dual exhaust was only available on the 4 barrel engines. The aftermarket has had bolt on H-pipes for the 2V engines for many years.

The NPD 5246-11D is the h-pipe for the 351C-2V engine.

Yuck, that's annoying and I didn't know that. I already have a Dual Exhaust System here. Thanks for the info, but I'm not going to buy it again now... I hope I'll be forgiven in the Mustang Mileu.
