Thank you, the VIN of my fathers car was 1F05F157809.
It was sold to a family in 1972 with almost the same name as ours with just a middle letter being different, both sons had the same first name as my brother and me and they lived around the corner. Almost same age btw. Just by coincidence.
We later tried to trace it further, but they had no more paperwork nor knew where their dad sold it to. They think to a dealer. Last location known thus was around 1974/75 and Duesseldorf/Germany.
There is no trace in Europe with our clubs, so I guess it may have had an accident at some time and got scrapped.
