427 just sounds right, lolLast week we had 4/26 day, and 4/27 day. one could say good days for 426 wedges and Hemis, and 427 Fords and Chevys, although.........technically, if you work out the 427s cubic inches using the B x B x S x .7854 x no. of cylinders........The formula for determining cubic inches, you'll find the 427 Ford is actually a 425, buy Chrysler had a 426 and General Motors had a 427, so Ford didn't want to appear the smaller of the big three, so 427 it is.
