The template from Graphics Express is 'not too bad' but not perfect. It is a tad too narrow at the sides from the edge of the hood to the start of the 1/4" stipe.
My painter only used the template as a guide and then used 3M detail tape to set out the final shape. In my case, it was my mistake about how far the blackout is from the front. I told him 2" but I had forgotten the 1" trim was not on the car, so mine is now set 3" from the front, but not many notice nor do they care. There has been a lot of post on this, but no time for me to search right now.

IMHO, l remember from my high school Physics class that the angle of incidence equals the angle of reflection. That said, you would have to be driving directly into a sunrise or sunset to have a direct reflection onto your eyes. I guess I’m over analyzing this, but the responses from the forum have been very interesting, as usual.
