Multiple Mustangs!
I dropped in my friends restoration shop, that he is closing, and met a visitor. Clay Parham, my friend, is closing his restorations shop after over 20 years. He has built cars that are stock to his last one a resto mod Nova. One of his several GTO builds scored 98.8 points at a national Pontiac meet. Battery and non lacquer paint was only deductions. That speaks how good he is. He has done R code Mustangs and just everyday cars that the owner had great attachment to. His personal 67 GTO runs 158 mph in quarter mile and is black and perfect. It has an over 500 ci Pontiac engine.

So while I was there the owner of Blue Ridge Vintage Racing Inc. came by to talk to Clay about joining his team. Mr. Rodney Butterfield the President of the company was quite knowledgeable of cars. He has worked on Formula 1 race teams and owned many rare cars. I did not know his facility existed just a few miles from my home.

Go visit his web site if any of you are really serious about a restoration of any vehicle his shop is impressive and he knows cars. He owned one of the original Boss 429 factory built race cars, 4 produced I think. It had NASCAR version of the 429 with dry sump system. It was sent to England and raced there. He did sell it and is currently doing a 65 or 66 Shelby. He is not cheap and not a body shop he is a true restoration shop and does all aspects of the restoration.

Wish I could afford him.

David
