July 72 351C Plug wires - what are the correct type

Hey gang,
Im looking to install date / year correct plug wires for my July build 72 H code 351 Cleveland.
The only ones Scott Drake has are the 70-71 Autolight units. (D0ZZ-12259-A) - https://www.holley.com/products/ignition/spark_plug_wires/parts/D0ZZ-12259-A
They have black round plugs for the distributor cap and red / orange rubber boots for the plug ends.
Are they also correct for a 72 or did Ford change to Motorcraft labeled plugs by mid 72?

Any advice would be appreciated.
 
Marti offers the correct Motorcraft wires, but they show out of stock. Autolite would only be correct up through 1971. I don't know the exact changeover date, but a 7/72 car would definitely be Motorcraft. The wires Holley is offering look like current generic aftermarket Motorcraft, not a date correct set.

Thanks for the info. I thought that was the case. The 70-71 plug set looks exactly the same with the only difference being the work Autolight on them compared to Motorcraft on the ones from Marti.

I've been told the 72-73 Motorcraft repros from Marti will never be made again which really sucks. It's getting harder and harder to find parts. And shipping is through the roof. When I went to the Marti site to get a power steering belt, the shipping was more than the belt!
 
Thanks for the update. I was looking at the Marti site and thought I would like a few of the parts he has like clamps, hoses etc.
I have also seen their postage costs in the past just for a piece of paper and as I live in Australia the postage costs would be 10 times more expensive for me. So decided to not order anything.
 
Agree with the comments above. The transition from Autolite to Motorcraft was "officially" signed by Ford in March 1972. As with all parts transitions, some Motorcraft branded parts were already in production at that time. I would agree that a 7/72 production date should have the majority if not all being Motorcraft. My car is a December 71 build so I do have an Autolite battery that passes judging. The majority, but not all of my components are Motorcraft. MCA allows for both in Concourse judging for 72 models, but I think that will start to transition in the future based on build date.
