I got the latest update this morning from the Museum. I booked my hotel months ago for the big event. The grand opening and 55 Ann of the Mustang will be in April 2019. They are having shows, of course the opening of the museum and a full day of track day at the Charlotte track just down the road a couple miles. The museum is on the property of Daniel Carpenter, well know supplier of Ford and Mustang restoration parts. His dad Dennis Carpenter has been retired a few years.
Here is like to fly around of the 40,000 sq. ft. building two floors. I think there were 28 flat beds of steel and the walls are precast concrete. I am give them my Mach 1 to display as a barn find. Have been talking about it.
Get a room and we can all meet up I want to do track day for sure.
