Ever been using you fave kitchen knife but it just doesn't cut like it used to. Don't go looking for your sharpening stone just open your cupboard. Grab a coffee cup made out of ceramic turn it upside down and run the edge of the blade in a cutting motion a few times on the non glazed part of the cup. Voila good as new. hahaha. This actually does a great job just thought I'd shae this little trick

Ohhh yes...Im sure it does work good...my freind is a big knife collector...And he made me buy a ceramic spyder co knife sharpener....Its harder than steel and doesnt take away so much metal while tring to sharpen..lol...I been using it alot..Just have to wash the old steel off once and a while from the ceramic...never wears out.....but im sure it counts on the quality of the ceramic.

Makes sense since the bottom of the cup is basically acts as a ceramic sharpening stone.
