Just a recommendation - you want an ABS plastic front spoiler, not the fiberglass version. The fiber is a one curb (or anything in the road) wonder.

Thank you, good point, I remember a few time rubbing the front spoiler on my 71. I want it painted argent to match the side stripes, any suggestions ?

You could probably paint the ABS unit, just has to be properly prepped and use a flex additive in the paint. Might want to consult with your paint supplier or a body shop.

You can paint ABS. Only way to get it to stick is to use Bulldog adhesion promoter, or some of the other qaulity product. Use catalised 2 part paint too!

I have one used spoiler that came off a Mach 1.   It is fairly new and still has the tag on the back side.   Reproduction ABS plastic, and in good shape.

I think the originals are not ABS. Too soft to be. My original broke in four pieces just sitting there for 36 years did not hit anything. The originals might have been vacuum formed I will have to go look and see.
