Got the new cooling lines in, new radiator and hoses in and the only leak is from the 90 degree fitting that was leaking before. I plan on changing that soon.

The real problem I have now is that the cooling lines are now rubbing underneath on the lower radiator hose. The lines seem to be in the right location, but the new hose bend doesn't allow enough clearance and the lines are rubbing on it.

The lines are from CJPONY PARTS and the hose is from ROCKAUTO.

Is there a big variation in the bends/shape of heater hoses?

An option, looking at it again, is to remove the hose and shorten the engine end about 1", that should bring it up enough. Has anyone else had this problem? This is a molded hose.

Maybe a solution is the radiator forward or more to the back... see photo (yellow arrow)

bend the lines by hand so they make clearance. when you buy pre-bent lines they are far from perfect. i take the shape as a suggestion and then modify as needed. I always need to hand tweak something that i bought premade, getting a small tweak in the right spot makes a big difference.

for the rad hoses i always went with the original shape reproduction hoses with the correct clamps. after market hoses could be shaped different and fit more then one application.
