Im needing to fill my manual steering box of my 72 Mach, I have done some research and of course the box calls for a special Ford lubricant which im sure is 20.00 an ounce. Anyway, seems like most guys out there are using a moly based grease, and some are using lubriplate 105 which I guess is a "calcium" based grease. Seems a lot of "hot-rod and jeep" people use the 105.

I have a lot of 105 I use for building engines so if I can use that it will save me a trip to Ford and probobly 50 bucks, but any na-sayers or steering experts have some input for me?
