With the recent talk of rotisseries around here I thought I'd bounce an idea off you guys. Dilemma: I want my car off the rotisserie because I want to support it from somewhere closer to the suspension points and start mocking up sheet metal and getting everything lined up. However, I've gotten quite spoiled with being able to flip the body up on its side, and will still need access to the bottom for some things and don't want to crawl around under it if I don't have to.
I'm trying to figure out some way to make something I could mount close to suspension points for proper weight distribution, and still be able to rotate it. I realize I won't be able to go all the way around like I do now, but after I seam seal the underside with it completely upside down so the sealer seeps into the seams nice, I won't really need to go all the way around, but it would be nice to be able tilt the body up from side to side even like 1/3 of the way around so my lazy a#+ doesn't need to crawl on the floor.
Any ideas????
