I like the white with black stripes combo on these cars myself. Don’t blame you for wanting to replicate your high school car! That's awesome that your daughter was able to learn on your Mustang, what a memory for both of you. Years ago when he was 15, I let my son drive one of my cars home from a car show on his learning permit, he's 28 and still brings it up it now and again. The hard part of living in colder climates like we do is having to go without driving them for a few months. I can see why you are already looking forward to spring and driving it again. I am hoping mine is painted and at least back together enough to drive by spring.
Your car is looking awesome! I love the grabber blue with silver stripes, that is such a classy color combination. My car was originally dark green with silver but a previous owner had painted it grabber blue with silver stripes years earlier. I had already set my mind on white and black before I found this car and that went out the window for a minute when I saw that Grabber blue/sliver combo. Even the worn out peeling scratched dented version I saw was impressive. After a while I made my way back to my original vision Wimbledon white and black, to honor my high school car, but man your color combo is classy. I think when I find my convertible to restore next I will do the Grabber blue and silver.
