Putting the mustang in hibernation for the winter months here soon. I gotta say I really enjoyed having this car back on the road this summer. It was so enjoyable everytime I got to drive it and so far after 500 miles I’ve had no issues other than a vacuum plug cracked on the intake vacuum tree. Simple enough fix and all good since.
My daughter even learned how to drive a Manuel transmission in it this summer.
Looking forward to next spring when the weather clears to drive it some more.

That's awesome that your daughter was able to learn on your Mustang, what a memory for both of you. Years ago when he was 15, I let my son drive one of my cars home from a car show on his learning permit, he's 28 and still brings it up it now and again. The hard part of living in colder climates like we do is having to go without driving them for a few months. I can see why you are already looking forward to spring and driving it again. I am hoping mine is painted and at least back together enough to drive by spring.
Your car is looking awesome! I love the grabber blue with silver stripes, that is such a classy color combination. My car was originally dark green with silver but a previous owner had painted it grabber blue with silver stripes years earlier. I had already set my mind on white and black before I found this car and that went out the window for a minute when I saw that Grabber blue/sliver combo. Even the worn out peeling scratched dented version I saw was impressive. After a while I made my way back to my original vision Wimbledon white and black, to honor my high school car, but man your color combo is classy. I think when I find my convertible to restore next I will do the Grabber blue and silver.

I like the white with black stripes combo on these cars myself. Don’t blame you for wanting to replicate your high school car!
That’s the whole reason I made this last post. As I was putting mine in winter hibernation the other day I thought about how when driving it this summer almost took me back to my last year in high school when I first bought the car .
Good luck on finishing yours as it looks like your in the home stretch so to speak
