Shooting up some tracer rounds at night...How you all like that rockin tune?

Breakin' the law, breakin' the law.... Appropriate tune, no? LOL

I was amazed the first time I shot tracer rounds and watching them deflect into the sky at random paths. The amazed parts for me was creating my own directional fireworks, the number of deflected rounds (many), and how long they burned.

The first time I saw tracer rounds was in the pit in basic training. The drill sergeants were firing them over our heads as we crawled through the sand/mud while ground charges were going off all around us. This was after some crazy long road march we did to get to that range. We were all exhausted then had to "survive" the pit. Good stuff. I think all teenagers should have to do that routine with their parent pulling the trigger on the 60s firing the tracer rounds overhead. Yeah, I would like to do that to my kids when they get all stupid in their teen years. LOL Bwahahahaha!

Now that would be something else....Specialy with them flying over head...Scary too sence you get too see the odd paths tracers can fly..lol.....First time i ever seen tracers...And i dout ill ever see them like that again..Was on the Carl vincent aircraft carrier ....At night we got on deck and they fired all the guns with tracers...I had some serious ear protection but my body was still being rocked...lol....They was shooting off them R2D2 gatling guns with tracer rounds...They told me they had one tracer round every 25 rounds....But it was spitting out so much lead you couldnt see the seperation......It looked like they was firing huge lazers...lol

and the song is fitting...But i dont think i was breaking the law thou..lol...It was winter and wet

i wish.....We was in a nice little canyon so no one would see but us and the camera...lol...But you know we did make a candle garbage bag balloon one night that did get reported as a ufo...lol...after i sent it up...I had a hard time in beliving ufo reports...lol...it glowed and flicked and looked like it was much higher at night than it realy was...It was smooth...And dropped light balls from below {candles burning threw the plate} Hot air balloons are fun to make
